COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVER

![]() In only 5 to 7 weeks you can be ready to earn your class A license, or 3 weeks for your class B, and begin a rewarding career as a Commercial, Long Haul, or Regional Driver.
Our Truck Driving program provides all the training necessary to obtain your Class A and B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and the skills to become a successful and safe over-the-road tractor trailer driver.
Experience as a truck driver can lead to future careers such as: dispatcher, supervisor, manager, marketing specialist and trainer. Pay varies with employer, but an over-the-road tractor trailer driver can earn $29,000 or more the first year.
Employment outlook Employers prefer our graduates! There is a high demand in industry for this occupation, which is expected to increase as more companies transport their goods by truck. Graduates can expect to earn good wages immediately upon placement, and every effort will be made to ensure
our students are successful in finding gainful employment. In fact, graduates of our program who have a good driving record enjoy a placement rate of nearly 100 percent!
Gain the skills you need What can our experienced staff offer that is unique to our commercial truck driver training program?
Class "A" course content Course Length: Class A • 5 weeks (full-time) or 7 weeks (part-time) Driving Skills: Backing, shifting, turns, defensive driving, accident and injury prevention, fuel economy and more. Subjects taught: Solo logging, CDL written preparation, air brakes, map reading, trip planning, mechanical, hazardous materials, weight and balance, bridge law, defensive driving, accident reporting, pre-trip inspections and more. Equipment: Tractors cab-over, conventional and mixed-fleet trailers.

After completing an application you will be called in for an interview. Upon completion of the approval process, applicants will be scheduled for a slot in the next class. Admission and retention in the training program is conditional prior to acceptable review of your Motor Vehicle Violation report and a Department of Transportation physical.
Any discrepancies found in an application will result in immediate dismissal from the program.
