Lancaster County Career & Technology Center, in accordance with public law, provides the
following information:
Residents of Lancaster County who are students enrolled in grades 10-12 in a public or parochial
high school may apply for admission through their sending school. The following educational options
are available at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center:
Full-Day Program: High School seniors spend the day at one of the three Lancaster
County CTC campuses and participate in a comprehensive technical or career program. The full day
program allows more usable time for instruction and enables the students to gain insight into daily
work patterns.
Full-Day Program with College Credit: College credits toward an associate degree
at local two-year colleges can be earned in specific full-day programs at Lancaster County CTC.
These courses offer college-level segments which must be successfully completed to qualify for
credits. The TECH PREP program offers academic and technical skills in a career pathway which leads
to an associate degree. Contact your high school counselors for more information.
Advanced & Specialized Programs: Special programs, including Pre-Engineering:
CAD Program and Introduction to Health Careers, enable college-bound students to explore a career
area for up to two hours each day. Enrollment may be limited to participating high schools.
Half-Day Cluster Programs: Career & technical programs are available to
students with special needs on a half-day basis. This Cluster program gives students an opportunity
to experience a broad-based exploratory program in one related area of specialization. The following
Cluster programs are available: Construction Cluster, Culinary Cluster, Health Care Cluster, Manufacturing
Cluster, Transportation Cluster, and Visual Communications Cluster.
Special Services: Special vocational services are available to disadvantaged
and disabled students before the twelfth year through half-day programs, and during the twelfth
year through full-day programs.

Grievance Procedure: The administration will not tolerate unlawful discrimination by any of its employees or students. Any student
subjected to unwelcome verbal, graphic or physical conduct relating to their gender, race, color, national
origin, religion or handicap/disability, which has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with their
educational opportunities or creates an intimidating or offensive educational environment, is encouraged to
immediately report such conduct to the Building Principal. All complaints will be investigated. All complaints
will be kept confidential. No reprisals or retaliation will be allowed for reporting such conduct or cooperating
with an investigation of a complaint. See the building Principal for further details and procedures contained
in School Policy #2710.
