Secondary students residing in Lancaster County interested in enrolling in a daytime program at one
of the LCCTC campus locations must:
- submit an LCCTC application form to their sending school guidance counselor, who provides
the appropriate information and sends it to the LCCTC admissions secretary.
- be able to benefit from the vocational education program.
If the number of applications for a program
exceeds the maximum enrollment number
designated for the program (which number
varies, depending on the program), the
LCCTC admissions staff will use sending
high school provided information to rate
the applicants on a standardized rating
scale form. A copy of the form is available
to anyone asking to see it. Final selection
of enrollees in such situations will be
made on a nondiscriminatory basis by LCCTC
admissions staff based on the total scores
on the rating form. Applications from
students with exceptionalities or disabled
students will be received, processed and
responded to in the same manner as for
all other applications. Final selection
of all students will be made by the LCCTC
staff (school board policy sections 6020.8).
LCCTC does not discriminate against individuals
on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual
orientation, religion, disability, age
or national or ethnic origin in the administration
of its admissions policies. Inquiries,
complaints and appeals should be made
to the Supervisor of Student Services,
LCCTC Mount Joy Campus, 432 Old Market
Street, P.O. Box 537, Mount Joy, PA 17552,
telephone 717-653-3007, fax 717-653-0901.
