The Lancaster County Career & Technology Center Practical Nursing Program combines classroom education with practice and hands on experience. LPN’s find employment in a variety of health care settings such as long term care facilities, hospitals, Veterans Administration hospitals, Rehabilitation hospitals, Psychiatric hospitals, Home Health care, Private duty, Schools and Industry, Doctor’s offices, or in the United States Army.
Class Information
12 Month Daytime Program
Day time classes begin in January, May and September and are held at the Willow Street Campus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. Class hours are Monday through Friday, 8-3pm and 7-3pm for clinical experience.
18 Month Evening Program
Evening classes begin every 6 months in March and September. Classes are also held at the Willow Street Campus of Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. Class hours are Monday through Thursday, 4-9pm and 4-10pm for clinical experience. Students in the evening program are off every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Approvals and Accreditations
The program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Graduates are eligible to take the state licensing examination upon graduation. Call 717-464-7063 to request a brochure/application. All applicants must be high school graduates or have obtained a GED. After receiving your application, official transcripts and required fees you will be scheduled for the Pre-entrance Test. The brochure also can be downloaded from our website.
